These Dive Medicine Courses include the effects on the body of pressure on gases, the diagnosis and treatment of conditions caused by marine hazards, hyperbaric medicine and how relationships of a diver's fitness to dive affect a diver's safety.

Maritime Medicine
These Maritime Medicine Courses cover a large number of issues as a part of the environment of seafaring including the effects of microclimate and macroclimate, noise and vibration aboard ship on seafarers, other work related exposures.

Wilderness Survival
Wilderness Survival Training is the practice of medicine where definitive care is more than one hour away, and often days to weeks away. The practice of wilderness medicine is defined by difficult patient access, limited equipment, and environmental extremes.

Recognized Curriculum
Our MTAC programs are structured so that you build the necessary skills and develop the ability to perform treatment in these austere conditions but also, to give you the recognition when you have accomplished that ability. MTAC’s specifically designed curriculum puts you on a path towards the Wilderness Medical Society’s Diploma of Diving and Marine Medicine (DiDMM) and Fellowship in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine (FAWM).

FAWM - Fellowship in the Academy of Wilderness Medicine
This Fellowship program offers a means to identify those who have fulfilled a demanding set of requirements validating their training and experience in Wilderness Medicine. MTAC courses qualify you for FAWM credit.
DiDMM - Diploma in Dive Medicine
The Diploma in Diving and Marine Medicine (DiDMM) is an exciting program designed to train the participant in the essentials of caring for patients in the marine environment.
